Creature of Comfort

It has been an amazingly busy week for me! Now that I am fully recovered from my Birthday extravaganza and done with the work week, I plan on taking it easy this weekend and getting in my comfiest clothes. I LOVE this Wildfox Sweater for those days when you don't feel like dressing up, but still want to feel like a girl (p.s. it's on sale!). A light-weight sweater with jean shorts is my go-to weekend wear when I'm feeling like I need to take a break and wonder around town.

Birthday Suit

As I mentioned in my Lace it up post, I am diggin’ the 70’s trends that are coming out. One of these trends that I jumped on was the jumpsuit! This one piece can be dressed up or down and is so comfortable, I have thought about sleeping in it.

This weekend I will be at the spa celebrating my birthday and plan on wearing this all day and night to celebrate. As I ring in another year, I am really looking forward to what it has in store for me and plan on looking the part!

Spring Swing

The weather could not have been more gorgeous this past weekend. I was finally able to break out my little summer dresses and tanks. Spring is turning out to feel more like summer and I am trying to add easy to wear one-pieces to my closet that I can dress up or down to wear from day-to-night.

Lace it up

It’s finally Friday! Unfortunately, I am not heading to Coachella with everyone else in the world, but I will be found lounging at the beach (way better). #FOMO

I am loving the 70’s inspired trends right now – especially the lace-up look. I had been hawking this dress for some time at Anthropologie and am so glad I finally purchased it! It is the perfect little shift dress for strolling around town on the weekends. And did I mention there are pockets?! If it's got pockets, I will buy it – no questions asked!

Grey Days

Happy Hump Day!

The weather last week was a little stormy in San Diego. And by stormy, I mean we got a little rain and there was clouds instead of sun (I know, spoiled!). When the weather is a little unpredictable, I like to keep things simple and wear layers. Booties, T-Shirt and a light sweater are perfect for these kind of days.

Rise & Shine

Mondays…

I have mixed feelings about Mondays. One part of me thinks, “Fresh start”, while the other part of me thinks, “ugh… 5 more days until Friday”. 

One thing that does get me up and going on those harder to love Monday mornings is a good outfit. After a weekend of shopping and picking up some new pieces for spring, I am ready to take on the week (and share these looks with you in future posts!).

I picked up this cute military style top with a great detailing on the backside the other day. It has become a favorite that I can’t stop wearing.

Denim Obsession

I love denim. I could wear it every day and be totally OK with it.

When I don’t know what to wear, my go-to is always denim on denim. It’s perfect for any occasion and can be dressed up with dark skinnies and a light top or dressed down with some boyfriends and a chambray top, as seen on today’s post.
